What is ELAO+?
ELAO+ is an additional module to the classic ELAO test, specifically designed to assess learners' speaking abilities. This innovative module consists of five questions presented in immersive video format. The test remains adaptive, with the level of the five questions depending on the answers provided in the previous modules. Participants must respond orally by recording their answers using a microphone.
What sets ELAO+ apart from other evaluation tools is the flexibility it offers:
- Automated or manual evaluation: You can choose between letting artificial intelligence grade the responses or manually evaluating the recordings yourself. This approach perfectly adapts to the various contexts of your assessments.
- Access to audio files: Regardless of the chosen grading method, you always have access to the audio recordings.
- Realistic immersion: ELAO+ faithfully reproduces a face-to-face interaction with a trainer. The questions are posed by an avatar, making the evaluation experience more natural, intuitive, and engaging for the learner.
- Integration into the final report: The results from the ELAO+ module are automatically integrated into the final ELAO test report, alongside the written and listening skills. This provides a comprehensive evaluation of language skills, including oral expression, and facilitates your decision-making process.
How to use ELAO+?
For learners, the ELAO+ extension follows exactly the same process as the standard ELAO test, with an additional module.
For administrators, nothing changes. You simply provide your learners with an ELAO+ code. This code will grant access to a test that includes the standard modules as well as the ELAO+ module.
